About Us

Daniel D. Borup, Ph.D. (Stanford University, 2018) has spent over 10 years at the intersection of fluid mechanics and medical imaging. Prior to founding Borup Solutions LLC, he held positions as a Senior R&D Engineer at Philips Healthcare and as a Research Fellow and Assistant Professor of Radiology at Mayo Clinic. His doctoral thesis presented a novel method to measure the concentration of solid microparticles in a turbulent flow using a clinical MRI scanner. His goal is to provide clients with flow information that is both fast and accurate, complementing results from simulation and traditional experiments.
